Quadra

Quadra has charming outdoor space with views that will stay with you forever. The terrace offers a shady spot with comfy sofas and amazing views. You'll want to sit and gaze out to sea here forever. You can even modify the shady areas with the sliding blinds! A staircase leads down to the outdoor kitchen. A lovely dining table is under the shade, and there's a hob, sink and barbecue area for creating delicious Sicilian feasts. Another staircase leads to the pool area, set below the villa. The pool area is simple, with a lovely infinity pool, sunloungers and a small seating area. This area also has an outdoor bathroom with shower.

Walk straight into the hallway from which you can already see the beautiful sea views. On the left there is the first bedroom with a double bed (can be converted to a twin) and French doors that lead outside. There is a bathroom with a shower on the other side of the hallway. The ground floor also has a stylish open-plan living area and kitchen with large sliding doors that lead to the veranda and looks out over the sea. There is a comfy sofa, a modern kitchen and a dining table. A staircase takes you to the first floor. At the top of the stairs there is a small sitting area with a brightly coloured sofa. There are two further bedrooms – both with ensuite bathrooms with showers - on this floor.

Beaches

The beaches in south Sicily are something special, and Quadra is ideally placed to visit them all. Marina di Ragusa is a quiet seaside town with a lovely beach. There are some pizzerias and restaurants, and the beach is perfect for families. Marina di Modica is similarly charming. Visit them both! Pozzallo is famous for watersports so if you are already a fan, or want to have a go a windsurfing, then make sure to visit! Porto Ulisse and Ciriga are both beautiful with chilled out, beautiful surroundings. Further afield the Vendicari Nature Reserve shines as a haven of unspoilt nature. 

Towns & Sights 

Quadra is close to the Valle di Noto. Made up of several towns – each with their own character, but all with extraordinary Baroque architecture – this is one of the most beautiful areas in Sicily. Noto is a dream of honey-coloured buildings. Modica has an impressive cathedral and a chocolate factory – perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. Scicli is a succession of beautiful piazzas, and Ragusa Ibla is a maze of narrow streets with amazing vistas around every corner. Ispica is also a small town that has a relaxed pace of life. Siracusa should also be visited; it’s a great day trip destination with a wealth of things to see. 

Activities 

Bring Sicilian cuisine to your villa with a delicious cook service or a cookery lesson! It’s a perfect experience to enjoy without even leaving Quadra! A private tour of Ragusa and Modica or Siracusa and Noto is a superb option if you want to see the best sights and get to know the culture of the area. South Sicily makes some amazing wines, so book a tour and enjoy a tasting at a local winery. Or head out to sea and spend a lazy day on a boat, topping up your tan on deck and swimming in turquoise waters.
