Fiore d'Arancio

Fiore d'Arancio has a large garden, the focus of which is the impressive pool, with sunloungers surrounding it. There is a great barbecue area, with a wood-burning oven that is ideal for cooking up delicious and authentic pizzas, and a lovely covered veranda where al fresco lunches are a must. The garden also has a semi-covered dining room, with outdoor kitchen, as well as outdoor showers and bathroom.

The living area of Fiore d'Arancio is spacious and inviting. With French windows that lead out to the garden, the living area is bright and airy. The kitchen, decorated in charming Sicilian tiles has access to a small back kitchen with washing facilities and to the lovely covered dining area. The villa has three comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom is ensuite and has a double bed, whilst the other two bedrooms - one convertible double/twin and one with a French bed - share a large bathroom with a shower.

There is a small guest house near the pool, with a triple bedroom (one double bed, one single bed) and a bathroom. It is ideal for a young family.

For guests who love working out, Fiore d'Arancio has a gym, meaning you can stay in shape, even during your Sicilian holiday.

Beaches

Fiore d’Arancio is close to some amazing beaches in south Sicily. Seccagrande’s sandy beach is not far from the villa and is ideal for a lazy day where you cares will disappear. Borgo Bonsignore is another quiet sandy beach for a peaceful bucket and spade day, or pick Eraclea Minoa with its pine wood and chilled-out atmosphere . Torre Salsa Nature Reserve is a vast stretch of sand that is protected due to its flora and fauna. It’s perfect for a day in truly unspoilt surroundings. If you prefer the comfort of a beach bar, visit the Blue Flag beach at Porto Palo di Menfi with its many lidos. 

Towns & Sights 

There’s a lot to see in south Sicily, so fit some day trips into your holiday. Seccagrande is a small seaside town with a good variety of bars and restaurants. For a larger town, head to Sciacca. This famous fishing port has a lovely town centre and many restaurants that serve the freshest fish around. The area is most famous for Agrigento and its Valley of The Temples archaeology park. Don’t miss a stroll around the city itself, and of course a trip to the temples. For small town charm, Ribera is a great choice; don’t miss the strawberries when they are in season! 

Activities 

There’s ample opportunity to relax at the villa, and an in-villa cook service – where a local cook will come and prepare a meal for you – is a great choice if you want something special at Fiore d’Arancio. If you want to get out and see the sights, then a private tour of Agrigento is a must. You’ll be taken to the world-famous Valley of the Temples, as well as some important sights in Agrigento itself. If you prefer nature, pick a boat trip along the coast as a fund day out full of sunshine and swimming opportunities. Or, visit a winery for a tour and tasting.
