Bellasia

Surrounded by a phenomenal garden with direct access onto a pebbly beach, Bellasia was made for chic al fresco living. Choose from shady spots under beautiful palm trees or ancient olive trees and enjoy the sound of the sea. There is plenty of space for all guests at the villa as the garden stretches out. With its gorgeous backdrop of the sea, you will want to spend all of your time in the outside space.

A raised terrace is home to a swimming pool, a jacuzzi for up to seven, an outdoor kitchen, and a picturesque dining area under the shade of a gazebo. There are several sunloungers that surround the pool making this terrace perfect for relaxing. Prepare delicious meals using produce from the vegetable garden found directly behind the outdoor kitchen - your meal couldn't get any fresher!

The rest of the garden is full of shady spots and comfortable seats where you can while away your time under the Sicilian sun. There is also a second gazebo outside the main house with another dining table, a lovely spot for a glass of wine.

After the sun sets, the lights go up. The gardens become even more atmospheric with a series of outdoor lights. You are sure to enjoy an aperitivo on the terrace in this magical environment.

For many, the highlight of this villa is the direct access to the beach. Step through a gate from the garden and you are ready to dive into the water straight away. Morning, noon or night.

Main House
Enter the Main House into the relatively small - but perfectly formed – kitchen. The charming ground floor sitting room, with a beautiful open fireplace, is a lovely spot for reading and relaxing. The quirky dining room has two dining tables, one large and one small, and has some original features - such as the villa's wine press - that refer back to the villa's historic agriculture use. There is also access to the garden and one of the gazebos from the sitting room. Walk up the staircase to a small sitting room, half way between the ground floor and the first. The first floor has two spacious double bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms with showers. From one bedroom you can see the sea, and the other enjoys a vista of the garden.
The main house also has two bedrooms on the first floor that are accessible from a separate outside staircase. The two bedrooms form a quadruple suite, ideal for families with a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and a bathroom that all lead on from one another.

Guest House
The Guest House, set a little apart, has three double bedrooms. Set slightly raised from the ground floor, the guest house is centred around a hallway, with a small table. The three bedrooms radiate from this hallway. One double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a shower, whilst the other two doubles - both with sea views - share a bathroom. The Guest House also has a small covered balcony.

Suite
The suite is a self-contained apartment, found on the ground floor of the Guest House. Open-plan in design, the Suite has its own living/dining area, a small kitchenette, a double bed and a bathroom with shower.

Beaches

Bellasia’s seafront position with direct access to the beach means that you can spend every day in the sea if you want! But the area has other wonderful beaches to explore. Letojanni’s beach now has Blue Flag status, so the quality of the water and facilities are guaranteed. Taormina is world-famous for many things, one being Isola Bella beach. Visit this jewel-like beach for an unforgettable day by the sea. You can also visit the beaches at Giardini Naxos or Santa Teresa di Riva for fantastic days by the sea with great bars and restaurants. 

Towns & Sights

Taormina is so close to the villa, so it would be impossible not to visit this ever-charming seaside town. Full of high-quality restaurants, beautiful boutiques, and an impressive Greek-Roman theatre with sea views, Taormina is a delight. An hour’s drive south leads you to Catania, Sicily’s second city. Visit and enjoy the vibrant fish market, Baroque architecture, and great shops. Mount Etna also has to be visited to experience Europe’s largest and most active volcano. Film buffs will also love the small hilltop town of Forza d’Agrò which was a filming location in The Godfather II and III. 

Activities 

Bellasia offers so much, whether you want to simply chill out at the villa, or go out and explore. With Mount Etna so close, a Jeep tour is wonderful for getting to know this natural wonder and reach the summit! Another option in gorgeous natural scenery is a quad tour in the Alcantara Gorges. For foodies, a wine tour is a fantastic choice, but if you prefer to stay at the villa, an in-villa cook service or even an in-villa cookery class is perfect! Finally, if you want to set sail along the coast, a boat trip is a fun and relaxed day out.
