Situated on a magnificent estate in western Sicily, La Foresteria di Badia is a great opportunity for couples or small families to experience life on a traditional Sicilian estate without the price tag! In a wonderfully peaceful location, the villa is also within easy reach of western Sicily’s fabulous beaches and many of the island’s most interesting sights.
The villa is surrounded by wonderful gardens and a pretty orange grove which ensure complete privacy. It is completely independent of both the smaller Badia Tower and the main house which is occupied by the owners of the Estate who are available to assist with anything you may need.
The villa sits in the midst of an orange grove surrounded by a magnificent lush Mediterranean garden which is criss-crossed with oleander-bordered pathways and shaded by palm trees. Within this beautiful outdoor environment you will find a table and chairs perfect for outdoor dining. There is a small solarium area, set around a charming relaxation pool – with hydro-massage jets – where you can top up your tan in the refreshing water or on the comfortable sunloungers.
The spacious living room has a very welcoming feel, enhanced by a fireplace and lovely collection of majolica tiles. A table and chairs create a dining space at one end of the room and there is a sofa with armchairs at the other end. A compact open-plan kitchen is situated just off the living room.
There are two double bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite bathroom with shower, while the other shares a bathroom (with shower) with the single bedroom.

In the 19th century La Foresteria di Badia was the main villa's stable block where the draught horses were kept. In 2006 the Sala family decided to renovate the property and filled it with their family furniture, using traditional colours and flair and imagination.
