Discover Martina Franca, an incredible Baroque town found in Puglia’s countryside, right in the middle of the Valle d’Itria at the height of 400 meters above sea level. Its name comes from the inhabitant’s devotion to Saint Martin of Tours, whilst the adjective Franca was added by Philippe of Anjou in 1310 when he bestowed various privileges to the town.
